Legend of Zelda StarCraft II Map

I can't stop gawking over the StarCraft II map engine ... many props to Blizzard for always outdoing themselves and giving users the tools to create things like this. What you see here is a StarCraft II "Ode to Legend of Zelda" and is pretty in depth so far, however it is unavailable for play at this time.

Here are some of the more exciting demos/trailers thus far:

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (3D FPS)

Yes, you heard me. A 3D remake of the classic NES game as a first person shooter. It's not horrible, either! It's not even close to completion, but the creators have put much time into tediously and meticulously recreating the game we all loved so much.

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (3D FPS)

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (3D FPS) is built on the Unity 3D engine, and you will be required to install it in order to play the game.

Honor Roll Bumper Stickers for Gamers

0:Lives author Das Chupa came up with these clever bumper stickers in expectation of his first child, but any gamer can appreciate the humor in these pieces.

Gamer Gear: Legend of Zelda Hoodie

So, you're probably wondering what this whole Gamer Gear thing is about, right? Well, it'll become a periodical (most likely weekly, or bi-weekly) where the Mundane Gamer will feature game related merchandise (usually apparel or accessories, game and otherwise) that we think might turn your head. Well, with that, on to the first order of business.

I'm definitely putting this hoodie on my Christmas wish-list this holiday season ... this ultra savvy looking (officially licensed, too) sweatshirt sports a collage of historic figures and symbols from the Legend of Zelda games in a nice, indie hipster style. Plus, brown is one of my favorite colors. Whachagonnadonow? Order the Legend of Zelda Collage Hoodie now, of course!
